Hello, I’m Raji
a maternity, family and newborn photographer based in Toronto.
I’m a passionate photographer, proud mom of two wonderful kids, chai tea junkie, antique shop addict and lover of sunsets. I’ve been capturing tiny humans for over 10 years now. I am driven by the magic of those fleeting moments—the gentle touch of a newborn’s hand, the laughter shared between siblings, the warmth of a family embrace. These are the moments that matter, and my goal is to preserve them for you to cherish forever. My goal is to create a warm, comfortable, and safe environment where you and your little ones can relax and be yourselves, making each session a joyful and memorable experience filled with laughter and love.
My journey into photography began during my university years, where I balanced a BA in Chemistry and Math with photography classes that ignited my love for capturing life’s most precious moments. I’m incredibly grateful for my husband, parents, and brothers, whose unwavering support has been the backbone of both my life and my business. When I’m not behind the camera, I love exploring new places, traveling with my family, and soaking in the simple joys of life. My goal is to create timeless images that tell your unique story, and I can’t wait to capture those special moments for you.

THE STUDIO
Where precious moments come to life! Step into my studio and discover a world of props, backdrops, gowns, bonnets, and accessories. There’s no need to bring anything except yourself and your baby, as I provide everything necessary for a successful session.
Rest assured that your safety is my priority. After each session, I thoroughly clean and sanitize the studio. Additionally, I am fully vaccinated and will gladly wear a face covering during your maternity and newborn sessions upon your request.
*Please note that my studio is not open to the public; sessions are strictly by appointment only.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect dress to wear for your newborn session, or deciding what big brother will wear, browsing website after website to find the perfect outfit can be time consuming, challenging, and expensive. Let’s change that!
All Sweet Tales Photography clients have complimentary access to the Client Closet, which includes size-inclusive dresses and robes for mom and the sweetest outfits for children up to size twelve. Not only can you be sure that your images will be timeless and cohesive, but you’ll also be wearing garments that photograph beautifully.
